Oh how I wish I was on Pennsylvania Avenue right now celebrating! Or at home and could possibly hear an awesome military fly-over. I want to shoot off fireworks and break into a good USA chant. I think today slash tomorrow should be considered a national holiday and my exam would be cancelled slash moved. In all serious, though, it needs to be a national holiday.

I am extremely patriotic and absolutely love our country. Most go through the motions of everyday and don't think about the sacrifices our military men and women make for us to live the way we do. The most common place things are easily take for granted.

This day is the most historic day of victory in my lifetime. Our troops fight for freedom and the liberty of all people. They have sought the justice for the victims of the attacks of September 11th.
