What little girl didn't want to be a prima ballerina when they grew up?
One of my childhood friends, Emily, is living out this dream.
Emily and I went to elementary and middle school together. For high school, she attended the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and then the North Carolina School for the Arts.
After graduating from high school she took a position at the Boston Ballet. She moved from Boston to Cincinnati the following year. For the past three years, she has been living and dancing in Amsterdam. She is a member of the Het Nationale Ballet. She is so talented and loves what she does.
Her partner in the modern piece is her boyfriend. They have been living and dancing abroad together. Yes...swoon!
