Wee Bit of Me & WILW

This Wednesday, I have decided to do two link-ups.  Hope you enjoy!  First is Wee Bit of Me with Leigh Ashley.

{one} do you wear holey jeans? if so, do you buy them that way?
I have some distressed jeans, but nothing with holes in them.  I do have the super worn out jeans that I "play" in - like riding four-wheelers and other outdoorsy things.

{two} do you get a full 8 hours of sleep per night?
I would love to get eight hours of sleep a night, but I usually average sixish.

{three} what’s your favorite way to eat an oreo?
For starters, I don't eat regular Oreos.  I get the golden (vanilla) kind.  I just eat them straight up...no need to waste time dunking them or twisting off one side.  I want to eat it not play with it.

{four} do you wear shoes in your house?
No!  I would rather go barefoot all the time than wear shoes.

{five} who would you call first if you won the lottery?
Mom and Dad of course.  Then, Heather, to tell her we would not need to practice law when we "grow up"!!

{six} have you ever been in a food fight?
I do believe a food fight broke out in my high school's cafeteria one time.

{seven} do you snore?
Does anyone really know if they snore?  I know my Dad sounds like he is sawing logs, but he claims he can't hear himself.  I probably do a little bit...but who doesn't.

{eight} do you know how fast you type?
I hated my typing class in high school.  I learned on a typewriter.  It was the only class in high school that I didn't exempt the final exam.  Now I time like 60 wpm or so.

{nine} can you do a headstand (without using a wall)?
Absolutely NOT!  I never acquired the skills of gymnastics/tumbling or anything cool like that.  I can't even do a cartwheel and never have been able to.

{ten} how do you like your popcorn?
I like to eat my popcorn with bunch-a-crunch.  Gotta have a little some sweet and salty at the same time.

And what would a Wednesday be without a little lovin'?

I'm loving that tomorrow is my last tax class of the semester!  Yes, I love tax, but it means that I will have one less class to worry about and one less exam to take at the end of the semester.

I'm loving that has of 4:45 tomorrow I will be on Spring Break!  I will have a week of nothing to do but life stuff.  I am super excited.

I'm loving my power yoga classes that I am doing this week at Charleston Power Yoga.  I was not sure what to expect, but I love it.  It is intense yet relaxing all at the same time.

I'm loving making new friends - in real life and blogosphere - as well as keeping up with old friends.  Elizabeth (seen here) and I only met a month or so ago, and she is quickly becoming a close friend.  We bonded over the Daytona 500.  We found out that we are kindred spirits.
Megan at Fried Green Pickles and I are sorority sisters.  I have enjoyed keeping up with her life in the past few months.
Megan at Two Cents and I went to high school together.  We both live in Charleston and see each other often.  Good luck this weekend!
Jana and Jenna are two new friends I have made.  It is like I know them personally.  They are both kind, genuine people.  Check out their blogs if you have not already...
Jenna - Bits & Pieces
Jana - Seashells & Southern Belles

I'm loving all my new followers.  THANK YOU for stopping by!  I hope you enjoy.

Finally, don't forget to enter my giveaway before tomorrow.  I will announce the winner on Friday.

Happy Wednesday! What are you lovin' today?

Soulfully,
Ashton

Spring Break isn't what it used to be after college, but I'm sure you're just happy to have a break!

  4. Awww Ashton! Thanks for the shout out... I love reading your blog too and feel like you are a long time friend even though we've never met in person!

Hopefully I can visit Charlston sometime in the not too distant future and then we can meet up for real. I was in Charlston for a little vacation last year because my boyfriend spent a semester at Clemson and I went out to visit him. I think your University and his are huge rivals, but he really enjoyed his time in SC and I was also lucky enough to visit Clemson and Greenville and thought the vibe in both was awesome! We are considering even moving to Greenville if we ever move to the states. :)

Enjoy your Spring Break... the power yoga class sounds awesome!

    xoxo
    Jenna
