Goodness Me! I need to blog more. I have been absent quite a bit lately. I apologize.
This week's Friday Fancies is brought to you in the spirit of navy, red, and all things nautical.
As y'all know I have a Salty Soul. A perfect day to me is spent on a boat with a cold beverage in my hand. I grew up on the water and spent my summer days either on the river or at the beach. That being said, I was excited when {av} announced a nautical theme for this Friday.
I know I have featured those same Jack's for a few weeks now. Let me explain...I have a couple pairs of Jacks. I love them. I have one pair that I have had forevvverrr. I had to get them resoled last summer, because I had literally worn them out. They were like brand-new yet still worn in. Well, they finally bit the dust back at the beginning of May. I quite literally blow out my flip-flops on the uneven paver sidewalks that surround the law school. I am in need of a new pair, but 1) can't decide if I want a regular pair or the mid-wedge style, 2) which color to get them in, and 3) do I want to spend the money on them.
As I mentioned earlier this week, I am off to Columbia this weekend for some baseball and to party like I am a freshman in college. Bring it on Five Points! This is my first trip back since football season. I will get to see this lovely lady...
and enjoy a game here...

Have a good weekend! I love that top in your Fancies look. I just got a new pair of gold Jacks and swear they're more comfortable than they used to be (my last pair I bought 3 years ago)!

Hope you had fun in Cola.! I was just in 5 points the other day. & I have a suggestion regarding your Jacks situation- how about getting a cheap knockoff pair? I got a pair from a store called the shoe dept. and they look just like the real ones! :)
